Renpy is Visual novels for linux

Being the fan that I am of visual novels.I really didn't like going through wine and configuring to run an .exe So i was hoping that Linux would have visual novels that could run natively in it without any extra programs  So I came across this software for Linux called Ren'Py.It's like a user visual novel community
with games created by people who love visual novels.

Game Database

The Ren'Py database is filled with with a total of over 300 games so far that means if you love visual novels there are probably some worth checking out that might peak your interest. The site lets you sort visual  novels by genre, type, and style of game play.

I've played a couple of them and think that they are fun and wouldn't mind creating my own.Ren'Py comes with easy to understand documentation that can guide anyone to creating there very own visual novel with ease.Overall I really think that this is a great addition to my Linux desktop. It's easy to install, and great to play.

Here's the download link for Ren'Py

Note:You can also download renpy through the Synaptic Package Manager

How to play a Ren'Py Game:

After you have downloaded a game from the Ren'Py database and extracted it, it's
so easy to play all you have to do is click on the .sh file in the game folder and tada you are done.Happy reading everyone
